This is a data logger designed for confirming and quantifying the usage of LPG stoves, which are very low polluters compared categorically to biomass stoves. A typical two burner LPG stove is equipped with a mini phone jack on the front and cheap silicon diode temperature sensors attached to the burner stems with a ground return thru the stove body. The low-profile pink-key logger plugs into the front of the stove and then stores daily statistics that purport to reflect to the total stove usage and meal count described above for wSUMS. In the main program in India, the PinkKey can be returned to the central office where a monetary incentive is given for each meal cooked on LPG. This logger has been designed for small size, low cost and a KISS interface.
