kSUMS

kSUMS is a simple data logger designed for monitoring three-stone or mud open fire pits. Type K thermocouples are placed at points near or under the fire and the logger body off to one side. It is a situation where the standard SUMS are difficult to apply, due to lack of stable attachment points and the sometimes high temperatures that are detrimental for the lithium coin cells that power the SUMS. kSUMS too is a toolin conjunction with other sensors for assessment of carbon, particulate and toxics emissions.
